Our story.
Bespoke Benefits was formed by Richard Jones and Gareth Carroll as an agency to advise and manage employee benefits for corporate clients.
We love working with UK businesses and over many years we have worked with companies of every size and from every sector.
This experience has taught us that every employer is different and that they want to be treated as such.
Bespoke Benefits is an alternative to the impersonal service that we see from big businesses in our industry and in modern life in general. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly personal service and we fiercely represent the interests of our clients.

Meet the Team.
Gareth Carroll
Director & Co-Founder
Gareth works with employers to improve and promote the benefits that they provide for the workforce. Sometimes this is overhauling and reviewing existing arrangements and sometimes it is making a new recommendation and launching it.

Over twenty years Gareth has developed strong relationships with employee benefit providers and has amassed plenty of experience. He specialises in providing strategic advice to employers looking to deliver a tailored benefits package to their employees.
Gareth really likes the variety of working with employers from different sectors and tackling the problems that each sector faces, whether that is reducing sickness and absence or improving employee engagement.
Gareth lives to the west of Leicester with his wife, young children and dog. Although he has little spare time he enjoys DIY, cricket, golf and playing the guitar.
Richard Jones
Director & Co-Founder
Richard has worked in employee benefits for 15 years, starting with an insurer before crossing over to work with employers and giving advice. He works with employers of all sizes and is especially expert in his technical knowledge of products.

Richard is a people person and will always find a way to a solve a problem. Though he has a very good eye for detail and a great technical knowledge he has a concise no-nonsense approach to advising which has endeared him to many employers that he works with.
Richard lives in Lutterworth with his fiancé and two small children. His hobbies include mountaineering, walking in the hills and going to the gym.
Clare Mayhew
Associate Director
Clare has always worked in a customer service background, specialising in Employee Benefits for the past 11 years.
She prides herself in providing excellent service alongside a kind natured approach, which has allowed her to build a large client base covering the whole of the UK.

During her career, Clare has built strong relationships within the Employee Benefit Industry and has amassed a breadth of knowledge to help guide and support both her clients and fellow team members.
At heart, Clare is a people person, and her goal has always been to provide a positive outcome, ensuring people’s needs are met, in a friendly manner.
She moved to Market Harborough a couple of years ago with her husband and two children and likes nothing better to relax and unwind, than walking her little dog Charlie along the canal.
Val Carroll
Senior Consultant
Val is a well-known figure in the industry having started her career in 1990.
For most of this time Val has led successful teams where her ethos has always been to deliver an excellent level of customer care.

When not working, Val will most likely be in her garden which she opens for charity under the National Garden Scheme.
Donna Roberts
Senior Health & Protection Consultant
Donna is an employee benefits veteran with 20+ years’ experience and she is enthusiastic about workplace health and wellbeing.

Donna prides herself on making sure that clients have a full understanding of their products, so that they can use the policies to their fullest potential. Especially focused on the value-added services that help your employees reach their health goals and improve their lifestyle, resulting in early intervention and ill health prevention.
Donna particularly enjoys holding the hands of new clients that are looking to introduce a package of benefits. She ensures that the offering is suitable for the sector and stacks up against competitors, so that they can attract and retain the highest calibre of staff.
Donna lives with her partner in Milton Keynes and in her spare time she enjoys gardening, yoga, travel, swimming and most recently taken up sewing.
Nicky Corrigan
Health & Protection Consultant
Nicky has also been working in Employee Benefits for over twenty years with experience in pensions and group protection. Nicky is a consultant with Bespoke Benefits and can advise and manage schemes of any size

Since joining Bespoke, Nicky has formed strong relationships with clients who have quickly some to rely on her capable handling of their schemes.
Nicky lives in the West Midlands with her husband and teenage son where she enjoys swimming and socialising.
Limara Newson
Team Leader – Account Management
Limara heads up the Account Management Team at Bespoke Benefits and has ten years’ experience working in Employee Benefits, she is very much the engine room of the business.

She does a thorough job and works closely with employers to run their various Employee Benefit plans. Day to day Limara is responsible for co-ordinating tasks and activities to ensure that we meet the high standards that we set ourselves.
Limara is friendly and engaging and will go out of her way to be helpful, our clients think very highly of her and she enjoys the relationships she builds with them.
She lives in the West of Leicester with her husband and kids. She enjoys family holidays and spending time with her friends.
Debbie Cooper
Account Manager
Debbie is an account manager with us and has been working in medical insurance for over 20 years! That kind of experience is invaluable. During her career she has managed the accounts of clients from all sectors from small family run companies to large blue-chip employers.

Debbie lives in Birmingham with her husband where they spoil their dog Poppy.
Emma Aston
Account Manager
Emma looks after the clients of Bespoke Benefits ensuring the smooth running of their schemes and diving in to tackle any issues they might have. She has 5 years experience and is known by insurers and clients for her courteousness and organisational abilities.

Emma is driven by the desire to do a proper job, she likes to take something on and see it through to completion. She takes a real satisfaction from knowing that she has seen something through to conclusion and that it has been done well. She combines very well with Gareth on the cases that they manage together.
Emma enjoys the outdoors and often goes walking which ties in well with the volunteering she does for a local rescue centre fostering dogs. She equally enjoys a good boxset, good food and spending time with family in her down time.

Carys has recently joined Bespoke Benefits as an Account Manager and has slotted in very well with the team.

Whilst completing 3 A-Levels, and more recently a University course in London, she worked part time gaining over 3 years of customer service experience..
Carys has a great work ethic and loves to be organised as well as getting the job done to the best standard.
In her free time, she loves to spend her weekends with friends, family, and partner, as well as going to the gym.
